Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Dr. Amrita Bilgi was introduced first-hand to the practice of Ayurvedic medicine, as it was developed in India over 3,000 years ago and is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing traditions. She grew to understand and appreciate the art of wellness and the need for personal balance. This furthered her love of the natural world and her inspiration to help people which guided her toward a career in natural medicine.
She received her Masters degree in Ayurved from the prestigious R.A.Podar Medical College in Mumbai, India after completing her Bachelor’s degree from Ayurved College, Sion Dr.Bilgi seamlessly melds her compassion, keen insights, progressive and traditional knowledge and intuitive wisdom into her holistic healing practice. She pursued her dream of integrating mind, body and spirit wellness through Ayurvedic Medicine and is taking her understanding of our complex humanity deeper with her current studies in massage therapy. She graduated from San Francisco School of Massage, one of the nation’s oldest and most renowned schools of integrated bodywork.
