It is a system that was developed in China utilizing the most potent esoteric practices from three different Qigong systems, and it is excellent for those people who are too fearful, sensitive or weak for needles and are seeking a healing form that is non-invasive. It is an excellent choice for children and elderly or chronically ill patients that have not responded to conventional treatments.

I have extensive experience in treating stress related disorders such as insomnia, fatigue, depression, anxiety and cravings, Women’s health such as PMS, menopause and infertility and injuries and pain management.

I’m a second year student practitioner of Heavenly Essence Qi gong System Te Yi medicinal Qi Gong, which is a healing modality that focuses on using focused intent and subtle hands on techniques to restore the body back to a balanced, healthy state.

I’m a caring and nurturing professional who strives to help patients understand their health and encourage them to take active part in their own healing process. To me, the goal of Chinese Medicine is to restore balance, which is attained by treating the root cause of the illness through the use of acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, cupping therapy, dietary and lifestyle changes. Available at Glen Park on Wednesdays, Bernal on Mondays.

Helena specializes in working with people who respond best to a gentler, slower approach to the body, whether due to persistent pain, injury or surgery recovery, chronic stress or trauma, a more sensitive nervous system, or just personal preference. As she says, massage doesn’t have to hurt to help! She looks forward to collaborating with you to create an experience that meets your needs and goals. In her spare time, Helena can be found taking long urban walks, discovering new kinds of dark chocolate, and dancing around her house. Available at Glen Park on Wednesdays.

Sean Tergis, CMT
Massage
Sean Tergis combines his bodywork training with a unique, intuitive touch, resulting in a massage that is relaxing, rejuvenating, and provides lasting benefits. Using a base in Deep Tissue Massage, Sean’s practice integrates Swedish, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial Release and Stretching/Mobilization. He is also experienced in more specific work, such as prenatal and lymphatic drainage. Sean’s curiosity about the human body and the healing process lead him to get a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Striving to get a more hands on approach to healing, Sean received his certification in massage therapy from San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork in 2014. He has taken various continuing education classes, such as Advanced Neck Work and Core Integration from Marty Morales, Stretching and Mobilization from Eric Ruben, and many more. Sean looks at the big picture with his massage by doing what is best for the body in the moment and help it along it’s path towards thriving long term. Through listening and reading the body, Sean is skilled in identifying areas that need attention as well as areas which can benefit from integration. Sean relates muscles and body parts together with his massage to encourage a more connected and deeper relaxation. Sean values his clients leaving a massage feeling nourished head to toe. A San Francisco native, Sean is also a hand percussionist and performs in Balkan and Turkish bands local to the Bay Area. Available at Glen Park on Sundays.
