Just left my deep tissue massage appointment with Randall. I see there aren't any reviews on him yet so assume he might be a newer associate but don't let that discourage you! Randall was prepped and already ready when I walked in (probably because I arrived late) and had a friendly demeanor. He asked if there were any areas I'd like to avoid, listed a few sensitive areas that some might not like to be massaged, and then prompted me to undress as much as I'm comfortable with. This was all within the first 5 minutes and a really great way to help the guest feel comfortable in my opinion. With the deep tissue massage, he went in deep but not in a way that was painful or uncomfortable. I can tell he was taking his time but not dawdling, listening to the body for what needs to be done, and focused on the task at hand. I'm typically more comfortable with females but there were no female associates available when I was booking so I took a leap with Randall and I'm glad I did! For 175 minutes I was charged $168 and then I tipped $35 which is ~$200 This place is definitely on the pricier side so I don't plan on coming too often but I'll definitely stop by if I want to treat myself.

East-West is my go to place for massage. My favorite practitioner is Tom Dempsey. He is by far the best body worker I have ever had anywhere. East-West is also a great location for acupuncture. I frequent the Glen Park location, which is just a few blocks from home, or the one in Bernal Heights. Either is great. I highly recommend EW!

I have always been curious about acupuncture, so exotic and mysterious. It's somewhat embarrassing, but I'd been unusually flatulent, I'd wake up to find my dog frightened and alert barking at my caboose, I didn't understand what was happening until my nephew got me this new apple watch for Hannukah. It has a neat application that records your sleep sounds. I sat down, had my coffee, and listened to its recordings the first morning and was quite shocked to say the least. To think little old me was making such sounds, mortifying! When I came here to see Rina I was ready to try anything. She was phenomenal, just absolutely phenomenal! It was a bizarre experience, all those little needles, but I felt so at ease. She's a real pro! Since my visit, my toots have gone down in volume and my dog and I can sleep soundly through the night. I looked forward to seeing Shannon every week to get relief from the emotional and physical impacts of my endometriosis. I have had several therapeutic massages with Yaara at the Glen Park location. Each massage better than the last. She asks a few pertinent questions at the beginning just so she knows exactly what you need/are looking for. She really listens. I went in one week with tension in one shoulder and let her know that. By the time I left it felt so much better after the work she did on it. I’m so happy to have found a good masseuse who is so good at what she does. I’ve had many massages with many different providers over the years, but I will keep coming back to Yaara as I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed!

Chris R is the best massage therapist I have ever seen, and I have been to a lot. He always gets out every knot, and even finds knots I didn't even know I had.
